Tiggs - 11/13/2012

Tiggs

0 November 16, 2012 in Felines
Tiggs was my sweet baby boy. I remember picking him out from the rest of the kittens 14 yrs. ago. Sadly, he passed away from intestinal lymphosarcoma. We thought it was IBD, due to his vomiting. So I switched his food to grain free and I guess that eased the inflammation for a few months. Then he became constipated. After an enema and running some tests and an ultrasound our worst fears became apparent. He really didn't show any signs of being sick until 2 days before he died. We rushed him to the vet again because he was vomiting foam and had not eaten or touched his water. The vet told us it was only a matter of days or weeks. He died that night at home in his favorite spot in the living room. I held his hand and told him I loved him. He struggled to lift his head and look at me one last time, then he slipped away ... We miss him so much! My poor baby. I cry every day for him.
