Milo's Story by Tehmina
Milo came to me when he was about 4 to 5 months old, injured paw bleeding. I took him in and he has been with me since then. He is 5 to 6 years old, he is very quiet but loves outdoors and was very playful but doesn't talk much. He used to get angry a lot. He loves junk food and raw meat. I hope I can get some more quality time with him, without making him suffer through chemo or painful meds. Please help save my love.
Milo's been diagnosed with lymphoma - and it has likely invaded his liver upon reviewing his ultrasound report - but he appears to also have an early hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). The R lung field density is likely a collapsed lung lobe suggesting lung involvement with lymphoma as well. In simple terms: Milo must be suspected of having Grade 4 (of 4) lymphoma - it has spread beyond the lymph nodes and both the thoracic and abdominal cavities are involved. While his HCM is early and difficult to know how quickly it will worsen, I feel that it is expected to worsen and would shorten the expected life span of any cat. Considering Milo is suffering from two life-threatening diseases.
