Betty Boop's Story
by Max

It is with heartbreaking sadness that I tell you that Betty Boop was diagnosed with gastric Lymphoma. It happened so fast. She has not been sick a day in her life, and visibly showed symptoms within the past week. She is still in the kitty hospital, and they said she didn't eat last night. I am meeting with the kitty Oncologist this afternoon to hear her options. I don't want her to suffer. I know this is part of being a pet owner. Of all my girls, I never in a million years thought it to be Boop so soon. She is only 12. She is the sweetest kitty.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate it more than I can say. Today is a very sad day.

Oncologist sent Boop home with me last night with B12 and prednisone.
Trying to make her comfortable. She ate a little food from a spoon. We're spending the day saying goodbye.

We're still here. Boop seems to be a little better. I think the prednisone has given her a little bit of an appetite. I caught her eating and drinking when I woke.
I'm not delusional thinking that she's cured I know its just a question of time. Her sister Lucy won't go near her, and hisses when she does. My girls have never ever hissed before. I just am so surprised. I'm Laying in bed with Boop under one arm and Lucy under the other.
So grateful I found this site. Thank you for helping me find not only information, but more importantly the courage.
